Black Mountain Side
My attempt at playing "Black Mountain Side", a Jimmy Page acoustic instrumental from Led Zeppelin's first album. The track is supposedly Jimmy's interpretation of "Blackwaterside", a folk song recorded by singer-songwriter Bert Jansch. This version of Black Mountain Side uses the DADGAD tuning, popular amongst folk guitarists (although on the Led Zeppelin album, Jimmy Page actually drops it down a further semitone to C# G# C# F# G# C#). I'm playing a Tanglewood acoustic into Cubase, going through the "Roomworks" reverb on the "Room with a View" setting. A higher quality version on this video is available for download at the Mike O'Hara website: http://www.michaelohara.co.uk
